TraumaBank
Clinical Software Website
WELCOME and thank you for visiting our website.
Changed the ISS Diagnosis Report so that you can also lookup Body Region, Anatomical classification and Injury description. If you enter more than one, info is combined. The removal of specific patient demographics details is now also possible.
TraumaBank Version 2.1
Changed the Trauma / Non Trauma Yes/No selection to a Trauma / Non Trauma checkbox to simplify selection.

Added the Trauma / Non Trauma selection to the main screen browse box.

Added the hospital name to the browse box.

Because of the changes above users can do queries on specific injuries and export to excel or print a custom report

Any relevant reports now have a ‘Print Trauma Cases Yes/No’ – ‘Print Non Trauma Cases Yes/No’ and an ‘Exclude Patient Identifiers’ selection allowing the filtering of Trauma and/or Non Trauma cases and the exclution of patient names, hospital numbers from reports for the printing of anonymous reports.

Previously there where certain fields that where not automatically capitalized (some Doctor name fields amoung others). This has now been rectified.

Lookup selection lists such as INCIDENT: How it happened could be bypassed and have users entering their own data. This has now been prevented so that users have to make selection from lists allowing insuring valid data entry.

The Patient ICU Number has been removed from the ICU section as this can cause problems when tracking a single patient through the system. We would suggest hospitals work with the same patient number throughout the patient’s hospital stay.

The EU disposition and ICU disposition list used the same lookup table. This caused some confusion and now a new ICU disposition lookup screen has been added.

Changed the dropdown list to a lookup table for Resus Team Doctor Title because the dropdown list could not accommodate all the titles.

Added a Cell Saved? Option with amount in the Procedures section

In EU data IC Drain and Other blood loss have been added

The drugs list for EU data and PreHospital data have been separated.

The QUERY section has had the tick box removed and a description of the active query will be displayed if a query is active.

Added a Performance Review custom built report

Added a Procedure Search report

Seperated ICD10 codes for Trauma and Non Trauma. When you select ISS injuries ICD10 codes are automatically assigned. The whole medical ICD10 list is available as a separate module to the ISS now.

Made ICD 10 and ISS list sortable by any column

Changed the +/- column sort indications with arrows

Set the Query Wizard to search on any number of criteria. There was a problem with multiple searches in earlier versions.
TraumaBank Version 2.5
Fixed colour issues when selecting procedure doctors with F4

Casualty doctor is capitalized

Fixed PS not calculating if patient age is zero (months selected)

Added New QueryWizard to ICD10 and ISS list so as not too loose previously selected data. Remember when using QueryWizard Filter, you can select some records, do a query then the following method must be used: press the centre button IN, select what you need, press the centre button OUT, clear the query, press the centre button in, do selection as above and REMEMBER TO PRESS CENTRE BUTTON OUT BEFORE PRESSING ADD MY RECORDS or you will loose what you had.

Completed the change of TraumaBank to allow automatic replication.

Created a seperate application called Log Manager which will track the data sent and received from each individual hospital.

Changed the Add Resus Team to not ask if you want to add another record automatically. This seemed to clash with the automatically replication of data.

VERSION 3

Replicate added. Each file now has a Site field which is unique to each hospital. There is a ‘This Site:’ display added to the top left of the Demographics screen indicating the Site ID.

Changed EU and Prehospital to say ‘Nil’ for chrystaloids and colloids if IV access that was ‘attempted’ or ‘unsuccessful’
Added Lactate, Glucose, PCT, haemoglobin and the ICU module now automatically calculates Vent days, Inotrope days and Dialysis days. And this info is automatically sent to hospital outcome module.

VERSION 3.1

Changed main screen colours to suit new triage colours. Blue patients died and Red patients are in ICU.

Placed a TICK next to every Medibank module to display whether data has been entered in that module.

Installed an update preventing anyone from copying Medibank onto a memory stick or CD and installing on another PC to protect hospital data.

Repaired certain Query, Report and export to Excel not working properly.

Added Site fields to all reports so that a ‘head office’ running Replicate can select which hospital they would like to do a report on.

Added a Diagnostic Investigations report.

Changed helicopter report to include injuries, PREHOSPITAL RTS, ISS and probability of survival.

Added a field to calculate the difference between Triage expected treatment time and actual treatment time.
